Project Manager

As a Project Lead/Project Manager, you'll manage progress, issues, resources, customer support, and change requests for prime projects supporting major trading companies' IT departments — covering the full system lifecycle from operations to development, with a path toward leading large-scale projects like system replacements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project issue management and progress management
• Management of project members and other resources
• Handling inquiries and QA from clients
• Reviewing deliverables and various documents
• Handling internal control-related matters
• Summarizing system modification requirements and proposing them to clients.
• As all projects are prime contracts, you will be able to directly interact with clients and participate in decision-making, proposals, and negotiations.
• We provide one-stop services from operation and maintenance to development, allowing you to experience a wide range of phases in the system lifecycle
• As you will be in charge of systems that have been running stably for a long period of time, it is easy to proceed with work systematically and to balance work and private life.

What are we looking for:

• Practical experience in the development or operation of IT systems
• At least one year of practical experience in project management. Experience with IT vendors, as well as in the information systems departments of business companies, is acceptable.
• Strong communication skills to smoothly coordinate and negotiate with customers and internal and external stakeholders.
• Japanese: Native level (ability to accurately understand complex nuances and expressions and use them naturally and accurately)
• English: Not required

Preferred Requirements: 

• Basic SQL skills and experience in database operations
• Experience in system development and operation in a Windows OS environment
• Experience in system development and operation using C#.NET
• Experience in the development and operation of sales order management systems
• Experience in the development and operation of EDI systems
• Practical experience in an information systems department or on-site at a customer's location.
