This isn't just an MC position.
It's an opportunity to entertain thousands of international visitors each year while introducing them to one of Japan's most iconic traditions.
As the SUMO SHOW MC at Kyoto Sumo Club, you'll lead live performances, engage audiences from around the world, and help create unforgettable memories for guests visiting Japan.

＜What You'll Do＞
As the MC, you'll be the host and storyteller of our live sumo experience.
Responsibilities include:

• Host multiple live sumo shows each day
• Welcome guests and introduce the experience
• Explain the history, traditions, and rules of sumo in an engaging and entertaining way
• Keep audiences energized throughout the performance
• Facilitate interactive guest participation segments
• Work closely with wrestlers and operations staff to ensure smooth performances
• Answer guest questions in English and Japanese
• Assist with venue operations before and after each show
• Help maintain exceptional guest satisfaction
• Continuously improve the presentation and guest experience

Salary: ¥280,000–¥400,000/month
*Salary based on experience and performance
*Annual performance bonus
