Country Manager, Korea | Fire Protection & Industrial Safety

A global leader in fire suppression and safety technology is seeking an experienced and commercially driven General Manager to lead its business development and operational activities in South Korea.

This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established international organization and play a key role in driving market growth, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding the company's presence across Korea.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

• Develop and execute market growth strategies for Korea

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across industrial, commercial, infrastructure, marine, energy, and other key sectors

• Build and maintain strong relationships with EPCs, consultants, contractors, system integrators, end-users, and industry stakeholders

• Lead technical presentations, commercial discussions, and customer engagement activities

• Drive sales growth and market expansion initiatives

General Management & Operations

• Oversee local business operations and administrative activities

• Manage local stakeholder relationships and support business governance

• Coordinate with regional and global teams to ensure alignment with business objectives

• Prepare business reports, sales forecasts, and market intelligence updates

• Support budgeting, compliance, and operational planning activities

Market & Industry Leadership

• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments

• Promote the company's technology and solutions through industry events, seminars, and networking activities

• Support strategic initiatives to strengthen brand presence and market positioning

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Business Development, Sales Leadership, Country Management, or General Management

• Experience within Fire Protection, Fire Safety, Building Technologies, Industrial Solutions, Engineering, Infrastructure, or related industries preferred

• Strong network within the Korean construction, industrial, engineering, or safety sectors

• Proven track record of driving business growth and managing key customer relationships

• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and lead commercial discussions

• Fluent Korean and business-level English

• Experience with companies such as Johnson Controls (Tyco), Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Carrier, Fike, Minimax, Kidde, Chubb, or similar organizations would be highly advantageous.
