A company in the food ingredients (oleochemical) and process manufacturing industry is hiring for a Quality Management Manager position. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality professional to lead a well-established quality function, drive compliance initiatives, strengthen laboratory governance, and support continuous improvement across operations. The role offers a high level of responsibility in managing quality systems, audits, regulatory compliance, and product quality assurance within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and develop the Quality Management team through effective manpower planning, competency development, performance management, and succession planning.

• Oversee and continuously improve quality management systems, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, Halal, Kosher, RSPO, FSSC 22000, and other applicable standards.

• Manage laboratory operations by establishing work standards, promoting good laboratory practices, and ensuring reliable testing activities.

• Drive cross-functional collaboration to resolve quality issues, implement corrective and preventive actions, and reduce recurrence of non-conformances.

• Review and approve quality control results, product testing outcomes, inspections, and product release decisions to ensure compliance with specifications.

• Lead internal, external, and customer audits, ensuring audit readiness and timely closure of audit findings.

• Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality performance, laboratory efficiency, operational reliability, and overall system effectiveness.

   

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Applied Science, or a related discipline.

• 5-10 years of department-level leadership experience in quality field in food / oleochemical industry.

• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, quality control, laboratory testing, audit management, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

• Experience managing quality teams, including supervisors, executives, officers, analysts, and technicians.

• Strong leadership capabilities with a structured, disciplined, and quality-focused approach.
