Company Overview

Our client is a new start-up precision metal manufacturing company in Senai, Johor. They are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, planning, inventory, logistics, warehousing, and supplier management. 

The role is responsible for ensuring supply continuity, cost optimization, inventory accuracy, and on-time customer delivery while supporting business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

•  Lead end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, planning, inventory, logistics, and warehousing.

• Develop sourcing strategies and manage supplier performance, quality, cost, and delivery.

• Drive S&OP, production planning, and inventory optimization initiatives.

•  Ensure timely delivery of customer orders and improve logistics efficiency.

•  Monitor and improve key supply chain KPIs, including OTD, inventory turnover, and cost savings.

•  Manage supply chain risks, business continuity, and compliance requirements.

•  Lead continuous improvement, digitalization, and cost reduction projects.

Job Requirements 

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or related field.

• Minimum 8 years' supply chain experience, including 3 years in a managerial role.

• Experience in precision metal manufacturing, CNC machining, automotive, aerospace, electronics, or related industries preferred.

• Strong knowledge of procurement, production planning, inventory control, logistics, and supplier management.

• Experience with ERP systems.

• Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
