Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Financial Technology

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SRE / Infrastructure Engineer to support mission-critical financial systems and improve reliability, automation, scalability, and observability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience operating Linux environments
• Strong experience with production systems, availability, and performance
• Strong knowledge of Linux kernels, processes, and networking
• Experience with Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform
• Experience with GitLab, Nexus, and Docker
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, monitoring, logging, and APM
• Experience with KVM and OpenStack
• Experience with FreeIPA and Active Directory
• Programming/scripting experience with Bash, Python, or Go
• Experience with Consul, Vault, or Terraform
• English: Business level
• Japanese: Conversational level (JLPT N3)

Nice to Have

• Kubernetes experience
• Immutable infrastructure
• AI/LLM experience for automation and reliability
• Financial industry experience
• Experience working with overseas vendors

What You'll Do

• Monitor and improve production environments
• Build monitoring and observability platforms
• Develop infrastructure automation and IaC
• Improve CI/CD using GitLab, Nexus, and Docker
• Troubleshoot Linux and networking issues
• Develop automation tools using Bash, Python, or Go
• Manage KVM/OpenStack environments
• Manage FreeIPA and Active Directory
• Work with HashiCorp tools such as Consul, Vault, and Terraform
