■Position Description
We are seeking a Data Engineer to join IT Data Platform team in Tokyo serving as critical link between the Japan business stakeholders and cross region IT teams.
The role focuses on the development and operation of various data pipelines to ensure that data supporting Japanese power trading business is appropriately delivered to business users relevant tools and systems.

■Key Role Responsibilities
・Be responsible for early morning EOD processes and for monitoring the stable operation of data pipelines ensuring that company managed pipelines run correctly and required data is successfully retrieved. Provide prompt hyper care support in the event of issues.
・Monitor the health of data pipelines for Analytics on a daily basis and in the event of an issue promptly notify relevant stakeholders perform triage and take corrective actions.
・Based on requirements from the business （front middle and back office） define system requirements and design new data pipelines Databases and its tables. Take end to end responsibility for development testing and production release.
・Take ownership of building and maintaining disaster recovery environments for the data platform including not only databases but also virtual desktops servers and other tools supporting the platform.
・Execute migrations to new data platforms while minimizing impact on existing processes and ensuring a seamless transition.

本ポジションは、日本のビジネス部門とグローバルITチームをつなぐ重要な役割を担います。日本の電力トレーディング事業を支えるさまざまなデータパイプラインの開発・運用を担当し、必要なデータを適切にユーザーやシステムへ提供することが求められます。

■主な業務内容
1. データパイプライン運用監視
・早朝のEOD（End of Day）処理を担当
・データパイプラインが安定稼働しているか監視
・必要なデータが正常に取得されていることを確認
・障害発生時には迅速なサポートを提供

2. 分析基盤の健全性管理
・Analytics向けデータパイプラインの日次監視
・障害発生時の関係者への迅速な通知
・初動対応（トリアージ）の実施
・問題解決および復旧対応

3. データ基盤の設計・開発
フロントオフィス、ミドルオフィス、バックオフィスからの要件をもとに、
・システム要件定義
・新規データパイプライン設計
・データベースおよびテーブル設計、開発、テスト、本番リリースまでを一貫して担当します。

4. 災害復旧環境（DR環境）の整備
データプラットフォームの災害対策環境の構築・維持管理を担当します。
対象には以下が含まれます。
・データベース
・仮想デスクトップ
・サーバー
・データプラットフォーム関連ツール

5. 新データ基盤への移行
・既存業務への影響を最小限に抑えながら移行を実施
・業務継続性を確保
・円滑なシステム移行を推進

【必須】
・SQLやPythonを用いたデータエンジニア等の経験3年以上
・ビジネスレベルの英語力
