Job Responsibilities:
The Procurement Manager role aims to ensure effective and compliant sourcing activities by managing suppliers, optimizing procurement processes, and delivering cost-efficient purchasing solutions.
This position supports business and operational performance by leading the sourcing team, driving cost savings, and strengthening cross-functional collaboration
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the sourcing team, including workload planning, task delegation, and performance tracking.
Oversee team attendance, training schedules, and ensure Corporate policies are followed.
Conduct regular check-ins with team members to ensure alignment with goals and resolve operational bottlenecks.
Prepare internal reports and updates to senior management on departmental performance and staffing needs.
Facilitate internal communication and cross-functional collaboration to ensure departmental effectiveness.
Lad end-to-end procurement for all indirect categories (e.g. office supplies, services, maintenance contracts, tools & equipment).
Collaborate with user departments to define requirements, scope of work, and procurement strategy.
Manage supplier identification, bidding, evaluation, negotiation, and contract finalization.
Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and Vietnamese regulations.
Monitor supplier performance, contract execution, and service quality to ensure value delivery.
Work closely with the finance team to monitor procurement related budgets.
Propose and Deliver cost-saving initiatives and evaluate vendors based on total cost of ownership.
Analyze market trends to ensure competitive pricing and sourcing opportunities.
Support ERP integration for procurement modules and S2P solutions (if applicable).
Establish standardized procurement procedures and documentation.
Continuously improve the sourcing workflow to increase efficiency and transparency.
Prepare regular reports on sourcing KPIs, savings, and vendor management performance.
Act as a liaison between company and relevant stakeholders for sourcing-related matters.
Provide timely updates and recommendations to management to support strategic decisions.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement/sourcing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Skills:
Strong understanding of procurement regulations, contract management, and vendor evaluation/management.
Familiarity with indirect purchasing categories.
ERP or procurement system knowledge (SAP is a must).
Leadership and team coordination skills.
Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Languages: Proficiency in Vietnamese and English (written and spoken).
