Job Overview

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and leading the commercial performance of the company's healthcare portfolio across the assigned region. This role combines sales leadership, key account management, business development, tender management, and strategic planning to achieve sales targets and strengthen relationships with hospitals, healthcare groups, clinics, and key industry stakeholders. The successful candidate will lead a team of sales professionals while managing strategic customer accounts and identifying new growth opportunities across both capital equipment and therapeutic product segments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve regional sales targets and business objectives.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion within the healthcare sector.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, hospital management teams, healthcare groups, procurement departments, and industry stakeholders.

  • Manage strategic accounts and oversee the successful execution of hospital tenders, contract negotiations, and procurement opportunities.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across hospitals, clinics, specialist centers, and healthcare institutions.

  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline activities, and forecasting to ensure achievement of regional KPIs and targets.

  • Conduct business reviews with key customers and provide appropriate solutions to meet evolving healthcare facility needs.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure effective product delivery, implementation, and customer satisfaction.

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and healthcare industry developments to identify opportunities and strengthen market positioning.

  • Provide regular sales reports, market intelligence, and strategic recommendations to senior management.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sales practices.

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of successful sales experience within the medical device, healthcare equipment, healthcare furniture, or pharmaceutical industry.

  • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership, supervisory, senior sales, or key account management role.

  • Proven track record in managing hospital tenders, institutional sales, or healthcare procurement projects.

  • Strong commercial acumen with experience developing and executing sales growth strategies.

  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.

  • Ability to engage and influence senior healthcare stakeholders, procurement committees, and key opinion leaders.

  • Strong analytical, business planning, and market assessment capabilities.

  • Experience managing a sales team and driving performance through coaching and development.

  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.

  • Possess a valid driving license and own transportation.
