Role Summary

We are looking for a Junior SAP P2D Consultant to support SAP implementation and support projects. The ideal candidate should have foundational knowledge of SAP Production Planning (PP) and manufacturing processes and be fluent in both Japanese and English. The role requires supporting business users, translating business requirements, coordinating with global teams, and assisting in SAP configuration, testing, and support activities related to production planning and manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support SAP P2D (Plan-to-Deliver) implementation, enhancement, and maintenance activities.
• Gather, document, and translate business requirements between Japanese and English.
• Assist in SAP PP configuration and testing activities.
• Support production planning, manufacturing, and shop floor business processes.
• Assist with Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Production Orders, BOMs (Bill of Materials), Routings, Work Centers, and Capacity Planning activities.
• Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, training materials, and project documentation.
• Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production support activities.
• Coordinate with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams to resolve issues.
• Support master data maintenance and validation activities related to manufacturing processes.
• Provide end-user support and conduct knowledge transfer sessions when required.
• Collaborate with MM, SD, QM, PM, and FI/CO teams to support integrated business processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of SAP PP / Manufacturing experience.
• Basic understanding of production planning and manufacturing business processes.
• Knowledge of MRP, Production Orders, BOMs, Routings, Work Centers, and Capacity Planning.
• Experience supporting SAP implementation, rollout, or AMS projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both Japanese and English.
• Experience translating business and technical discussions between Japanese and English.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with global and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or a related field.
• SAP PP Certification is an added advantage.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of integration between SAP PP and MM, SD, QM, PM, and FI/CO modules.
• Prior experience working with Japanese customers or in a Japanese business environment.
• Experience in automotive or manufacturing industry projects is highly preferred.
