OVERVIEW
Our client is an international trading company, providing steel, construction materials, chemicals, and renewable energy to a wide range of customers within EU countries. Now, they are looking for a Risk Management Analyst to join a finance team for the EMEA HQ office near Frankfurt.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Educational background in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or other related field
Relevant background in risk management
Korean and English communication skills (Korean is a must as there are tasks to do in Korean)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Risk Management Analyst is expected to be accountable for monitoring and controlling risks related to business partners, industries, and countries.
Identifying, assessing, and prioritising potential risks and evaluating their impacts on diverse business models.
Preparing clear and insightful internal reports to support executive decision-making and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment with key risk issues.
Risk assessment
Establish and manage risk-related standards and policies
Identify existing risks related to business partners, commodities, and countries
Assess credit profiles of business partners and counterparties
Develop and implement effective risk management practices within day‑to‑day operations
Develop and enhance internal control systems (ICS), including credit and inventory controls
Monitoring
Conduct regular reviews of key management indicators as well as political and commercial developments
Reporting
Prepare clear and insightful reports on control and monitoring results for senior management, supporting informed decision‑making
Ensure effective communication and alignment with relevant internal departments
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Related experience or background (working or internship experience) in risk management related is preferred
Strong team collaboration skills with a hands-on mindset
Able to work across diverse teams and cultures
Practical MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
BENEFITS:
Full-time and permanent contract with 38.5 working hours per week
