Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning & Scheduling Develop and maintain detailed project schedules (Primavera P6, MS Project). Ensure integration of design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases. Apply CPM and Earned Value Management (EVM).

  • Cost Control Prepare and monitor budgets, track expenditures, analyze variances, and forecast final costs. Manage commitments, accruals, invoices, and cashflow reporting.

  • Progress Monitoring Collect and analyze project performance data. Produce variance and trend reports. Align reported costs with physical progress (Value of Work Done).

  • Risk Management Identify risks, conduct quantitative analysis (Monte Carlo simulations), and implement mitigation strategies. Lead contingency planning for offshore and construction projects.

  • Contract & Claims Management Interpret EPC/FIDIC contracts, manage change orders, claims, and disputes. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

  • Stakeholder Coordination Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and finance teams. Provide evidence-based reporting to senior management.

  • Mentoring & Leadership Guide junior engineers, enforce safety (OSHA, HSE), and ensure compliance with industry standards.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related fields

  • 6-15 years in Project Controls, Planning, Scheduling, or Cost Control within Oil & Gas, Offshore, EPC/EPCI, or large-scale Construction projects.

  • Experience in Primavera P6/MS Project, project scheduling, progress monitoring, and project reporting. 

  • Knowledge of Cost Control, Budgeting, Forecasting, Risk Management, and EPC Contract/Claims Management. 

  • Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and leadership skills; certifications such as PMP, AACE, OSHA, or Offshore HSE are an advantage.

  • Able to work form Monday -Saturday
