Data Analyst (Power BI)

Responsibilities:

• Generating and maintaining insightful data analysis reports and visualizations to monitor KOLA data quality, empowering users to explore specific areas of interest.
• Creating comprehensive documentation for dashboards, reports, and data analysis methodologies.
• Identifying and defining appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Vehicle Engineering departments.
• Identifying potential gaps, streamlining processes, and ensuring data consistency across the applications.
• Communicating insights effectively through presentations, reports, and dashboards with managers and engineers.
• Collaborating with managers and engineers to measure the effectiveness of process improvements for KOLA data analysis, ensuring alignment with Vehicle Engineering goals.
• Training colleagues on the effective use of Power BI and Qlik Sense, fostering a data-driven culture within Vehicle Engineering.
• Facilitating workshops and identifying potential business requirements through data-driven approaches.
• Reporting to the line manager, other functions, and project manager.

Qualifications:

• 3+years working experience in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Qlik Sense
• Expertise in Data query Tools and SQL
• Deep understanding of data structures and building data models
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or R
• Effective communication skills in both English and Japanese (JLPT N3 and above)
• Experience in automotive or manufacturing industry is an advantage
