Associate Consultant / Analyst – Capital Markets Advisory
Location: Bangkok, Thailand (remote work)
Our client, a leading advisory firm specializing in financial markets and public sector advisory, is seeking an Associate Consultant / Analyst to join its growing team in Bangkok. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with an interest in capital markets, financial regulation, and economic development to work on high-impact projects across ASEAN.
The successful candidate will support consulting and policy advisory engagements related to bond market development, capital market strengthening, and financial sector reforms. The role offers direct exposure to government agencies, financial regulators, international organizations, and private sector stakeholders, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to initiatives that shape the future of financial markets across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct research and analysis on bond markets, financial regulations, and capital market development across ASEAN.
Support policy advisory and consulting projects for government and financial sector clients.
Prepare reports, presentations, and client deliverables.
Participate in meetings with ministries, regulators, central banks, and market institutions.
Build relationships with clients and stakeholders and support industry events.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in consulting, research, financial services, government agencies, or analytical roles.
Strong English communication and presentation skills.
Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Willing to travel internationally across ASEAN (approximately twice per month).
Strong interest in capital markets, bond markets, and financial regulation.
Preferred Experience
Consulting projects related to finance, public finance, or capital markets.
Experience with organizations such as PDMO, SEC, BOT, Thai BMA, or similar institutions.
Securities, treasury, brokerage, trading, financial advisory, or bond underwriting experience within banks or securities firms.
