We're looking for a hands-on QC Leader to support our Senior QC Manager in running the day-to-day lab operations. If you have strong experience in chemical QC and enjoy leading a team, ensuring product quality and working with different departments, this role is for you. You'll be the person making sure every raw material, in process and finished product meet quality standards before it goes out to customers. 

Location: Senawang Industrial Park, Seremban 

Job Responsibilities: -

• Support and assist the Senior QC Manager in leading and overseeing daily QC laboratory operations to ensure all testing activities are performed efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner.

• Ensure all raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products comply with approved specifications and quality standards, and take appropriate actions on any non-conformance.
• Lead, supervise, and develop QC personnel through structured training, coaching, and performance management to build a competent and high-performing team.
• Review, verify, and approve test results, certificates of analysis (COA), and reports to ensure data integrity, compliance, and accuracy prior to product release.
• Oversee the calibration, maintenance, and validation of laboratory equipment to ensure reliability, accuracy, and operational readiness.
• Partner with the Senior QC Manager to lead investigations on non-conformances, deviations, and customer complaints by conducting root cause analysis and ensuring timely resolution.
• Drive and monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure effectiveness and prevent recurrence of quality issues.
• Ensure full compliance with Quality Management Systems and regulatory requirements, including ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP, GDPMD, HALAL, and safety regulations, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Establish and maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date documentation and records in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Production, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment on quality requirements and support process and product improvements.
• Lead and support internal and external audits by ensuring audit readiness, compliance, and timely closure of audit findings.
• Enforce and promote environmental, 5S, and safety compliance within the laboratory to maintain a safe, organized, and compliant working environment.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, or related field.
• More than 8 years of experience in Quality Control within the chemical or manufacturing industry, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in laboratory operations, testing methods, and quality systems
• Strong familiarity with ISO 9001, HALAL, GMP, HACCP, GDPMD, and other relevant standards.
• Experience with GC, HPLC, titration and other lab instruments 
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as SPC and 7 QC Tools.
• Preferably with knowledge in laboratory operations and packaging quality.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report writing skills.
• Ability to read and write Chinese (Simplified/Traditional) technical documentation is an advantage
