JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Technician to support the maintenance and smooth operation of a temperature-controlled cold storage facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for refrigeration systems, cold rooms, building facilities, and maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and food safety standards are maintained. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in refrigeration, facilities maintenance, or industrial environments who are comfortable working shifts and responding to operational maintenance needs.
Maintain and troubleshoot refrigeration and cold-room systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building facilities and warehouse equipment.
Diagnose equipment faults and carry out repairs to minimize downtime.
Support maintenance of material handling equipment and facility infrastructure.
Conduct routine inspections and ensure equipment operates efficiently.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety, hygiene, and maintenance standards.
Maintain maintenance records and coordinate with vendors when necessary.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
NTC 2, NITEC, or equivalent qualification, or relevant technical working experience.
Experience in refrigeration, HVAC, cold storage, warehouse, factory, or facilities maintenance is preferred.
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment.
Able to work independently and take ownership of maintenance responsibilities.
Able to communicate effectively
Comfortable working in a cold-storage environment.
Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required.
