Job Description
- Must: Using CATIA V5, candidate must be able to make complex 3D model, assemblies and drawings.
- Preferred: Candidate should have worked on designing of automotive plastic parts and had participated in the product development events.
- Preferred: understand manufacturing aspects of design, Injection molding process, Tooling Feasibility, Potential manufacturing defects.
- Able to analyze and interpret customer specifications, technical drawings, sketches, CAD layout data.
- Recommend design modifications for VA/VE (cost reduction, tool design simplification, part commonization).
- Knowledge of GD&T (desired) and APQP, TS/ISO, PPAP (preferred).
- Good communication skills (must: verbal and written in English)
