About the Role: 

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Parts Manager / Parts Executive to lead and manage our Parts Department operations at our Shah Alam headquarters. This position is responsible for overseeing parts sales, inventory management, procurement activities, dealer support, and customer satisfaction while ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, inventory planning expertise, and leadership capabilities, preferably from the heavy equipment, machinery, automotive, or industrial equipment sectors.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Oversee the overall operations of the Parts Department, including team management, customer enquiries, dealer support, pricing, procurement, and delivery status.

• Develop and implement sales plans and activities to achieve departmental sales targets.

• Calculate accurate spare parts pricing and costing.

• Analyze parts requirements and determine optimum stocking levels based on business needs.

• Monitor daily inventory and parts operations to ensure efficient workflow and avoid delays or ordering errors.

• Maintain awareness of inventory status, promotions, and ordering systems to maximize purchasing benefits.

• Liaise and negotiate with principals, suppliers, and vendors to secure competitive pricing and supply arrangements.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and dealers to achieve high customer satisfaction.

• Conduct market research and analysis on pricing, product quality, and competitor activities.

• Prepare monthly and annual sales forecasts, budgets, and departmental performance reviews.

• Analyze inventory turnover and stock levels to optimize ordering and storage strategies.

• Generate and provide sales and inventory reports for management review, promotional planning, and business analysis.

Requirements: 

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Automotive Studies, or related disciplines.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Parts Management, Spare Parts Sales, Inventory Control, or Aftersales Operations.

• Experience in heavy equipment, construction machinery, industrial equipment, automotive, or related industries is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of inventory planning, procurement processes, and parts pricing.

• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage departmental performance.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer relationship management skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP/inventory management systems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Leadership experience and ability to manage a team effectively.
