Job Description
Design, develop, and maintain features across a scalable CRM platform, spanning both frontend and backend systems.
Build and enhance backend services using Node.js and TypeScript within a microservices architecture.
Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces using React and Next.js.
Design, manage, and optimise database solutions, including relational and document-based databases.
Create secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and support integrations with external services.
Improve application performance, system reliability, and scalability across cloud-based environments.
Collaborate with product, design, QA, and DevOps teams while contributing to testing, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and containerised deployments.
Qualifications
Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
Commercial experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, and Express.js.
Knowledge of API design and microservices architecture.
Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and/or MySQL databases.
Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD), Jest, and Cypress.
Experience working with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure, with AWS experience preferred.
Understanding of Git and source control platforms such as GitHub or Bitbucket.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as AWS CDK or Terraform would be advantageous.
Familiarity with event-driven systems, distributed services, and data-driven platforms is beneficial.
Strong problem-solving abilities with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and maintain high standards of code quality.
Comfortable working within agile development teams and passionate about building scalable, maintainable systems.
