Your New Company A reputable retail and commercial property owner with a strong portfolio of lifestyle, retail, and mixed-use developments is seeking a proactive leasing professional to support the growth and optimization of its tenant portfolio. Your New Role As a Leasing in-charge, you will be responsible for identifying and securing suitable tenants, managing lease negotiations, and supporting the execution of leasing strategies to maximize occupancy and rental performance.

This role offers exposure to asset enhancement initiatives (AEI), tenant mix planning, and retail market analysis, making it ideal for candidates who are passionate about retail real estate and commercial leasing.

Key Responsibilities 1. Leasing & Tenant Acquisition

• Source, identify, and secure prospective tenants to support occupancy and revenue targets.

• Actively participate in tenant mix planning to enhance overall mall performance.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, brokers, and industry partners.​‌

   

2. Lease Management & Negotiation​‌

• Negotiate lease renewals, rental terms, and tenancy agreements in line with business objectives.

• Manage assigned lease agreements and ensure proper documentation and execution.

• Monitor tenant compliance with lease obligations and operational requirements.

3. Asset Enhancement & Retail Planning

• Support leasing activities related to asset enhancement and repositioning initiatives.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align leasing efforts with overall asset strategies.

• Assist in implementing leasing plans aimed at improving occupancy rates and rental income.

4. Market Research & Reporting

• Conduct market research on retail trends, competitor developments, and tenant movements.

• Prepare leasing reports and provide regular updates on occupancy, negotiations, and tenant performance.

• Track market opportunities and provide recommendations to strengthen leasing performance.

5. Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate property viewings and facilitate communication between tenants and internal departments.

• Ensure smooth workflow and collaboration across leasing, operations, and marketing functions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Business, or a related field.

• Minimum 1–2 years of leasing experience within retail, commercial, or mixed-use developments.

• Experience supporting Asset Enhancement Initiatives (AEI) is highly preferred.

• Good understanding of retail leasing principles, tenant mix planning, and market dynamics.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Positive attitude with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
