Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Bilingual QA Lead to drive our next generation of software quality through automation and AI.

This role will lead test automation initiatives, establish QA standards, collaborate closely with engineering teams in Japan and India, and evaluate cutting-edge AI technologies to improve software quality and development efficiency.

You will serve as the technical bridge between our global QA teams while helping build a scalable, automation-first quality culture.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation Leadership

• Design and implement end-to-end automated testing using Playwright, Cypress, CodeceptJS, or similar frameworks
• Establish and standardize test automation frameworks and best practices
• Improve CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated testing through GitHub Actions
• Analyze manual testing processes and prioritize automation opportunities

AI-Driven Quality Engineering

• Evaluate and implement AI-powered solutions for:
  • Test generation
  • Test case design
  • Defect analysis
  • Quality improvement
• Integrate AI tools and coding agents into QA workflows

Global QA Collaboration

• Align testing strategies and automation standards across Japan and India
• Act as the communication bridge between multilingual engineering teams
• Promote knowledge sharing, technical reviews, and documentation across locations

Technical Leadership

• Mentor QA engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
• Visualize quality metrics across products and propose continuous improvements
• Drive engineering excellence through automation and standardization

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with test automation using one or more of:
  • Selenium
  • Cypress
  • Playwright
  • CodeceptJS
• Experience utilizing AI to improve software testing and quality assurance
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD environments
• Strong background in software QA and test design
• Business-level English proficiency
• Basic business-level Japanese proficiency JLPT N3 level

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading the implementation or standardization of test automation platforms
• Experience developing web applications (frontend or backend)
• Experience working in startups or Agile development environments
• Experience collaborating with globally distributed teams across different time zones and cultures
• Previous experience as a QA Lead or Technical Lead
