Position:     Production Chief
Salary:        30,000 – 35,000 THB 
Location:    Nawa Nakorn Industrial, Pathum Tani

 

Key Responsibilities of the position:

 

Production Execution & Schedule Control

  • Monitor Daily Output: Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure actual production strictly adheres to the established production plan and timeline.

  • Resource Allocation: Effectively manage and deploy manpower, machinery, and materials to maximize daily throughput and minimize idle time.

  • KPI Tracking: Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, yield, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) to ensure targets are met.

Forecasting & Risk Management

  • Predictive Analysis: Proactively identify potential bottlenecks, material shortages, or equipment constraints that could cause future production delays.

  • Schedule Adjustment: Forecast production capacities and adjust master schedules in advance to mitigate risks before they impact the final delivery.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with supply chain, warehouse, and planning teams to ensure a seamless flow of materials required for upcoming production runs.

Troubleshooting & Crisis Management

  • Rapid Response: Act as the primary decision-maker during unexpected events (e.g., machine breakdowns, sudden staff shortages, or utility failures) to minimize downtime.

  • Root Cause Analysis: Investigate unexpected disruptions or quality deviations, implementing immediate countermeasures and long-term corrective actions to prevent recurrences.

  • Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflicts on the production floor quickly and effectively to maintain a steady operational rhythm.

Standard Operations, Quality, & Safety

  • Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) protocols to maintain a zero-incident workplace.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all products are manufactured according to company quality standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor production supervisors and operators to build a highly skilled and motivated workforce.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive process optimization initiatives (such as Lean manufacturing, 5S, or Six Sigma) to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency.

  • Reporting: Generate accurate daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for senior management.

Technical Expertise & Equipment Management
  • Machinery Optimization & Maintenance: Oversee the operation, setup, and routine maintenance of industrial manufacturing machines. Collaborate closely with the maintenance team to diagnose mechanical issues and schedule preventative maintenance without disrupting the production plan.

  • Electrical System Troubleshooting: Utilize a strong understanding of industrial electricity and control panels to quickly identify electrical faults on the production floor. Ensure all electrical equipment is operated safely and coordinate rapid repairs during unexpected power or equipment failures.

  • Plating Process Control: Direct and monitor the complete plating operation, including surface preparation, chemical bath maintenance, and finishing. Ensure all plating parameters (e.g., current density, temperature, chemical composition) are strictly controlled to guarantee high-quality finishes and minimize defect rates.

  • Technical Problem Solving: Act as the technical subject matter expert on the floor, directly intervening when machines, electrical systems, or the plating line experience complex, unexpected malfunctions that operators cannot resolve.

  • Chemical & Electrical Safety: Enforce stringent safety standards specific to high-voltage electrical equipment and hazardous plating chemicals, ensuring proper handling, storage, and disposal protocols are followed at all times.

 

Qualifications required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field

  • Minimum 5 years experience in mechanic, maintenance and electronics

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of industrial machinery operation and maintenance.

  • Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems, circuitry, and electrical safety standards.

  • Proven experience managing electroplating, chemical baths, metallurgy, and surface finishing processes.

  • Exceptional ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults under pressure.

  • Good communication skill in both Thai and English
