PR/119700 | Senior Production Engineer

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Production Engineer to deliver technical support across operations and drive production excellence. This role is critical in ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, maintaining high quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and OEMs to resolve technical challenges, develop new capabilities, and enhance overall production performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support across multiple departments (Operations, Sales, Customer Support, Supply Chain, etc.) to ensure smooth production processes.

• Develop and maintain work instructions, routings, and Bills of Materials (BOM) based on OEM manuals and approved technical data.

• Lead process improvements, innovation initiatives, and cost reduction activities to enhance efficiency, quality, and turnaround time.

• Coordinate with OEMs for repair concessions and technical clarifications.

• Support shopfloor operations by providing technical guidance, resolving issues, and participating in daily production meetings. 

• Drive new capability development, including tooling, equipment, and process setup for new products. 

• Analyze production performance (e.g., manhours, scrap parts) and implement solutions for continuous improvement. 

• Support investigations related to warranty claims and non-conformance issues, including root cause analysis. 

• Build and maintain technical data within ERP systems and support cross-functional projects as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 

• Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in the aviation or manufacturing industry. 

• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, OEM technical documentation, and production processes. 

• Familiarity with aviation regulations, quality systems, and ERP/Microsoft Office tools. 

• Experience in landing gear systems, overhaul processes, or special processes is a plus. 

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills. 

• Good communication and interpersonal skills in both Thai and English (TOEIC 550+). 

• Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma tools and continuous improvement practices. 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high responsibility and teamwork mindset.
