Job Description

Head of Accounting & Finance Group

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement accounting and financial strategies aligned with the company’s logistics business goals.

  • Provide financial insights to support decision-making in supply chain optimization, warehousing, and transportation operations.

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes with a focus on logistics efficiency and profitability.

  • Oversee accounting operations including AR/AP, general ledger, cost accounting, and financial reporting.

  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and logistics-related financial policies.

  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and investment strategies to support logistics expansion projects.

  • Provide strategic recommendations on pricing models, freight cost allocation, and contract negotiations with logistics partners.

  • Support digital transformation initiatives such as ERP, TMS (Transportation Management System), and WMS (Warehouse Management System).

 

Job Qualification:

 

  • Minimum 10–15 years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, with at least 5 years in a senior management role leading large-scale teams.

  • Proven experience managing and leading large, multi-functional accounting & finance teams, including coaching, performance management, and succession planning.

  • Strong background in logistics, supply chain, or transportation industry is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated experience in overseeing financial operations across multiple entities or group companies (e.g., 20+ legal entities) with complex structures.

  • Solid experience in corporate audit, internal control frameworks, and regulatory compliance, including coordination with external auditors and audit committees.

  • Proven track record in handling complex financial environments, including intercompany transactions, consolidation, transfer pricing, and multi-country operations.

  • Strong expertise in financial consolidation, group reporting, and IFRS/TFRS compliance.

  • Proven track record in strategic financial planning and execution.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate financial data into actionable strategies.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence senior management and cross-functional teams.

  • Experience managing highly complex organizational structures and large-scale transformation projects (e.g., ERP implementation, finance transformation).

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and logistics-related financial tools (SAP, Oracle, TMS, WMS).

  • Fluent in English and Thai (both written and spoken).
