Company Overview: Our client is a specialty medical devices provider partnering with hospitals and clinicians to deliver procedural and acute‑care solutions. They focus on clinical support, technical training and building strong clinician relationships to drive product adoption and patient outcomes.
Position: Assistant Sales Manager, Acute Care
Role summary: Support and execute the sales strategy for the Acute Care business in Singapore. The role emphasizes technical selling, clinician relationship building and accurate sales forecasting to grow market share and support cross‑functional commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to territory growth.
Execute sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
Conduct product presentations, demonstrations and provide clinical/technical support during procedures.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clinicians, OT/Cath‑lab staff and key hospital stakeholders.
Prepare accurate sales forecasts, market intelligence and regular activity reports.
Collaborate with marketing, clinical, operations and customer service to support launches and resolve issues.
Ensure timely follow‑up on customer enquiries and service escalations.
Participate in local training and medical education activities.
Reporting & Team:
Reports to Regional Manager / Division Lead.
Works closely with clinical education, product and commercial teams; local travel within Singapore required.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Minimum 3-5 years’ sales experience; medical device sales preferred.
Technical selling background; experience in Anesthesia, Urology or Cardiology advantageous.
OT or Cath‑lab exposure is a strong advantage.
Independent, self‑motivated, result driven and able to work across multifunctional teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Based in Singapore; willing to travel locally.
Preferred:
Prior experience in medical device/equipment sales supporting procedural teams.
Strong clinical credibility and ability to provide procedural support.
Performance Indicators:
Achievement of sales targets and territory growth.
Forecast accuracy and CRM/activity hygiene.
Clinician and customer satisfaction; timely issue resolution.
Contribution to launches, training uptake and commercial initiatives.
