OVERVIEW
An international innovative data technology company, offering databases and solutions for the healthcare industry, to improve administration and operational processes efficiently. Expanding worldwide with offices in 28 countries, including Germany.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
At least 7 years of experience in finance, controlling, or accounting
Solid expertise in finance budgeting and forecasting operations
Business level in German and English communication skills
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accountable for financial operations for entities across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH).
Lead a team with one member
Define and monitor cash flow, including reconciliation of bank account movements and ensuring surplus funds are handled in line with the company’s policies
Control all local purchase and nominal ledgers, payroll journals, and bank reconciliations
Ensure timely and accurate monthly payroll processing for employees in DACH countries
Review all expense claims to verify compliance with company policy, accurate receipts, correct VAT, and tax conditions
Prepare monthly revenue and expenditure forecasts and annual budgets
Calculate and prepare commission statements for the sales team
Oversee accounts receivable, including follow-ups with customers on overdue invoices
Provide information to tax advisors to ensure timely resolution of compliance matters
Support management in reviewing results, answering queries, and providing further analysis as needed
Collaborate with international offices from time to time (UK, the Netherlands, Nordic countries, etc.)
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in the finance and accounting field, including in a management position
Familiar with multi-currency systems is an advantage
Ability to collaborate with people at all levels of the organisation across regions
Able to work hybrid with 4 days at the office and 1 day at home
BENEFITS:
Base salary: 90,000€ - 110,000€ per annum
