POSITION TITLE Business Analyst
POSITION SUMMARY
In this position, you will lead business analysis and application support activities for counterparty credit risk (CCR) systems, acting as a key bridge between business and technology teams to enhance risk platforms, ensure production stability, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for CCR systems
Support exposure management applications including PFE/EPE, limit monitoring, what-if pre-trade analysis, intraday risk calculations, and exposure reporting
Create process flows, functional specifications, and data mapping documents
Act as liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams
Serve as a key point of contact for high-severity production incidents impacting exposure reporting, limit breaches, and regulatory deliverables
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for production incidents and ensure permanent resolution of recurring issues
Drive continuous improvement and process standardization
Support automation and operational efficiency initiatives
Collaborate with global onshore/offshore teams
Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and risk control requirements
Define and track operational metrics such as system performance, data quality, and incident trends
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Mathematics, or a related discipline
12+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services technology
Strong experience in risk or exposure management systems
Experience working in regulated environments
Strong knowledge of counterparty credit risk (CCR) concepts
Experience with derivatives, exposure calculations (PFE/EPE), and risk platforms
Proficiency in SQL and data analysis
Experience with BRD, functional specs, and test cases
Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow
Understanding of SDLC, Agile, and change management
