Job Responsibilities
Evaluate organizational objectives, business priorities, and financial operations to support transformation initiatives.
Assess and redesign finance and accounting processes, including:
o Accounts Payable
o Accounts Receivable
o Fixed Assets
o Financial Close & Reconciliation
o Financial Reporting
o Cost Accounting
o Budget Management
o Financial Consolidation
Identify process inefficiencies and develop recommendations to enhance productivity, accuracy, and reporting effectiveness.
Design management accounting frameworks, performance measurement systems, and business KPIs.
Analyze profitability, cost structures, and operational performance to support strategic decision-making.
Gather business requirements and support finance technology transformation projects, including ERP and automation initiatives.
Participate in solution evaluation, implementation planning, and business case development for digital finance investments.
Conduct business issue assessments and propose practical improvement opportunities with measurable business impact.
Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver consulting engagements and project outcomes.
Support project execution activities, including planning, resource coordination, progress tracking, and deliverable preparation.
Contribute to client presentations, workshops, and transformation roadmaps.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
2–3 years of experience in financial consulting, accounting process improvement, business analysis, auditing, or finance transformation projects.
Strong understanding of finance and accounting workflows and internal business operations.
Experience documenting and mapping business processes using process flow methodologies.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a consulting environment.
Professional working proficiency in English.
High level of self-motivation with a strong interest in developing a consulting career within finance transformation.
Experience participating in finance process review or optimization projects is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Basic Japanese language skills (written and verbal).
Familiarity with process modeling or business process management tools.
Exposure to process benchmarking, operational excellence, or continuous improvement initiatives.
Knowledge of ERP systems, automation technologies, or digital finance solutions is advantageous.
