Job Responsibilities
Define automation and equipment solutions to enable new product introduction.
Investigate new capabilities, automation, and equipment for more efficient manufacturing methods.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for automation and equipment for cost reduction.
Implement programs to achieve production objectives to meet quality, cost and delivery commitments.
Work with suppliers and manage the program to meet the goals and timeline.
Work with overseas manufacturing sites to resolve automation and equipment issues.
Plan and conduct statistically designed experiments, analyze data and make recommendations.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automation Engineering, or equivalent
Min 5 years experience in a semiconductor packaging environment with automation and equipment knowledge.
Experienced project manager effective collaborating with global manufacturing teams.
Familiarity with D.O.E., DFMEA, PFMEA and structured NPI release processes.
Experienced in a high-volume manufacturing environment is an advantage.
Software skills including: MS Office, Excel, Mechanical CAD Platforms, Solid Works preferred. Statistical analysis experience required.
International travel up to 5%
