About the Company

Our client is a rapidly growing global manufacturer specializing in environmental reliability testing solutions for the Battery, Semiconductor, and Automotive industries.

With a strong international presence across Asia, Europe, and North America, the company provides advanced testing systems including environmental chambers, thermal shock systems, battery testing equipment, semiconductor reliability testing solutions, and customized industrial testing platforms. The company is currently expanding its Korea operations to support strategic customers across the region. 

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales Director to lead the company's growth strategy in Korea.

This role will be responsible for:

  • Driving sales growth and market expansion

  • Managing and developing the local sales organization

  • Building strategic relationships with key industry accounts

  • Expanding business across Battery, Semiconductor, and Automotive sectors

  • Acting as a key interface between Korean customers and global headquarters

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
  • Develop and execute Korea market growth strategies

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities

  • Manage key customer relationships and strategic accounts

  • Lead complex B2B sales cycles from prospecting to contract closure

  • Drive revenue growth across target industries

  • Manage large-scale industrial equipment projects

Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead and coach the Korea sales team

  • Manage existing commercial staff and support future hiring activities

  • Establish sales processes, KPIs, and reporting structures

  • Build a scalable organization to support long-term growth

Market Expansion
  • Strengthen the company's position within Korea's industrial sector

  • Expand engagement with leading manufacturers and R&D organizations

  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends

  • Support strategic partnerships, industry events, and customer development initiatives

RequirementsQualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or above

  • Minimum 8 years of B2B sales experience

  • Minimum 3 years of sales management or regional leadership experience

  • Proven track record in industrial equipment, testing equipment, automation, semiconductor equipment, battery equipment, or related technical industries

  • Strong business development and account management capabilities

  • Experience managing strategic customer relationships and high-value projects

Language Skills
  • Native-level Korean

  • Business-level English or Chinese

  • Chinese language capability is highly preferred
