Job Description

2. TSO Communication & Liaison

3. EPC Electrical Design Evaluation

4. Technical Documentation & Compliance

Minimum Education Level Bachelor's Degree
Visa Status Permission to work in Japan required

Required Skills

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related technical field. Professional engineering license (PE) in Japan is highly preferred. English proficiency for work purposes is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on grid connection, power systems, or energy storage projects (BESS, solar PV, wind) in Japan.
  • Proven track record in handling grid permit applications and communicating with Japanese grid operators (e.g., TEPCO, KEPCO, Okinawa Electric Power) is mandatory.
  • Experience in evaluating EPC electrical designs for large-scale energy projects, familiarity with Japanese electrical standards (JIS) and grid codes is essential.
