Position:   GM Production control (Surface technology)

Salary:       80,000 – 100,000THB +/- (Negotiable) 

Location:   Ayutthaya

Our client is big brand manufacturing. 

Key Responsibilities of the position:

• The General Manager – Production Control (Surface Technology) is responsible for overseeing production planning, scheduling, and control activities within surface treatment operations (e.g., plating, coating, anodizing, painting). This role ensures optimal production efficiency, quality compliance, cost control, and on-time delivery while aligning with business objectives.

• Production Planning & Control

• Surface Technology Operations Oversight

• Manage operations related to surface treatment processes (e.g., electroplating, PVD, CVD, anodizing, powder coating, painting)

• Inventory & Material Management

• Control raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory levels

• Ensure all processes meet quality standards (ISO, IATF, customer-specific requirements)

• Collaborate with QA/QC teams to reduce defects and improve yield

• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations (especially chemical 

• Cost & Efficiency Management

• Monitor and control production costs (labor, materials, chemical usage)

• Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives

• Optimize line balancing and capacity utilization

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering

  Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field

• 10–15+ years in production planning/control or manufacturing operations

• Minimum 5 years in leadership role

• Experience in surface technology (plating, coating, painting, etc.) is required

• Strong knowledge of surface treatment processes 

• Expertise in production planning tools (ERP/MRP systems) 

• Strong leadership and team management skills 

• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
