OVERVIEW
A European sports club operator, providing a full-service experience from venue booking, professional coaching, competitive tournaments, and social events. The company was established in 2021 and rapidly growing with over 20 club locations.

To support growth, they are looking for a solo Financial Accountant to support day-to-day operations in Germany.  

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, finance and accounting operations

• Able to work as a solo finance accountant in Germany and virtually report to a finance director in the Netherlands.

• Proficient in DATEV

• Business level in German and English communication skills

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• As a Financial Accountant, you will support accounting and finance day-to-day operations

• Process incoming invoice

• Execute payments (banking, transfer, direct debits, etc.)

• Monitor dunning process and payment terms

• Entry booking (document and account coding)

• Coordinate with external tax advisors (month-end closing, Tax, VAT returns, year-end preparation, payroll)

• Assist with budget planning and forecasting

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 2 years of working experience in accounting and finance functions

• Experience in payment processing

• Able to work independently and reliably under less supervision

• Skilled in DATEV usage

BENEFITS:

• Salary: 50,000€ - 60,000€ per annum

• 25 days of annual leave

• 100% remote work for the first years and hybrid will be required.
