Our client is a global manufacturing organization specializing in high‑precision engineered components for medical, industrial, and consumer applications. Join them now as a Project Management Engineer to be a part of an ever-growing team.
Job Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate injection molding projects from concept through to production.
Liaise with cross-functional teams including design, tooling, quality, and production to ensure project success.
Evaluate and approve mold designs and modifications in collaboration with toolmakers and suppliers.
Provide technical support during mold trials, troubleshooting molding issues, and implementing corrective actions.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and status reports.
Ensure that all projects comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Source and manage suppliers and vendors involved in tooling and component supply.
Drive continuous improvement in molding processes and tooling performance.
Participate in DFMEA and PFMEA activities for new or modified products.
Support validation and documentation for new tool launches (IQ, OQ, PQ).
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in project engineering, specifically in injection molding.
Strong understanding of mold design, plastic materials, and injection molding processes.
Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and project management tools.
Knowledge of scientific molding principles and process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ).
Experience in medical device, automotive, or high-precision plastic components.
Experience with ISO 13485, IATF 16949, or other regulated environments.
