Our Client is a leading manufacturer of precision‑engineered components, providing end‑to‑end solutions for global regions across Singapore, Malaysia, China, Thailand, Vietnam, India, Japan, and North America. The organization operates a large-scale production facility supporting high-precision components and is focused on driving operational excellence, innovation, and long-term growth. The company is hiring for a General Manager position, to lead the manufacturing workforce as well as contribute to the business performance and transformation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES

• Oversee daily operations across production, engineering, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and environmental health and safety to ensure stable and efficient performance

• Drive improvements in operational metrics such as yield, cost, on-time delivery, and overall equipment effectiveness while strengthening process capability

• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues, manage crises, and maintain operational discipline across the plant

• Strengthen manufacturing processes including machining, forming, and surface treatment while enhancing automation and industrial engineering practices

• Champion continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and structured problem-solving

• Support financial planning activities including budgeting, capital investment evaluation, and performance tracking while contributing to business expansion plans

• Develop and mentor leadership teams, build succession pipelines, and drive long-term organizational capability and cultural transformation

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements while reinforcing risk management practices

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree/ Master's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management or a related field

• Strong leadership experience in a precision operations manufacturing (i.e. machining, forming processes, surface treatment technologies etc.)

• Capability in driving operational improvements and lead transformation initiatives

• Experienced in managing large teams and building high performing organizations

• Demonstrate strong financial and operational insight, with the ability to drive efficiency and cost effectiveness.

• Excellence leadership, communication and stakeholder managements skills.
