COMPANY OVERVIEW
Well established Manufacturing Company specializing in the production of automotive components, delivering high-quality solutions aligned with global quality standards, supplying to International and Local Vehicle Manufacturers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as the primary interface between the global OEM, plant operations, and internal cross-functional teams to ensure successful program execution
Lead the full Safe Launch lifecycle (preparation, ramp-up, audit, and exit) in compliance with OEM CSR, APQP/PPAP, and IATF 16949 standards
Manage and ensure completion of all audit and quality documentation (PFMEA, Control Plan, QFD, special characteristics, etc.) to meet customer requirements and milestones
Oversee on-site ramp-up activities, including equipment installation, commissioning, validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), and integration into quality systems
Implement enhanced quality control and containment measures (100% inspection for critical characteristics, Cpk monitoring, traceability, layered audits)
Lead issue resolution and structured problem-solving (8D, PDCA) to ensure immediate containment and long-term corrective actions
Manage Safe Launch exit process, including production stability validation, audit readiness, and transition to mass production control
Coordinate cross-functional teams (Quality, Engineering, Production, Logistics) and provide regular updates on progress, risks, and performance to customer and management
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Possesses Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing Management or related field
Minimum 8 years of experience in OEM Safe Launch / Ramp-up Projects, exposure to automotive manufacturing projects would be a plus.
Well versed in executing and coordinating Safe Launch stages (pre-launch preparation, ramp-up, issue detection, quality verification, exit approval)
Strong knowledge in Automotive industry compliances (IATF 16949, VDA as well as Customer's Special Requirements)
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management ability
