PR/160636 | AWS Cloud Network Engineer

A leading global organization is seeking an experienced AWS Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure cloud network infrastructure supporting mission-critical applications.
This role plays a key part in building high-performance AWS networking environments, working closely with DevOps and engineering teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and compliance with best practices. You will drive network architecture, optimization, and troubleshooting initiatives while contributing to automation and continuous improvement across the cloud ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage AWS networking architecture, including VPCs, subnets, route tables, and security groups

• Configure and support advanced AWS networking services:

  • VPC Peering

  • Transit Gateway

  • Elastic Load Balancing (ELB)

  • VPN and Direct Connect

• Implement and maintain network security controls, including AWS WAF, NACLs, security groups, and third-party firewall solutions

• Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to support deployments and resolve network-related issues

• Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for proactive detection of network issues

• Perform network security assessments and ensure compliance with cloud security best practices

• Troubleshoot complex networking issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions

• Drive automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting

• Create and maintain network documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures

   

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in AWS cloud networking design and support

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS networking services (VPC, Transit Gateway, VPN, Direct Connect, ELB, CloudFront)

• Solid understanding of core networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)

• Experience with routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF

• Familiarity with AWS security frameworks (Security Groups, NACLs, WAF, firewalls)

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
   

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred)
  Scripting/automation skills (Python, PowerShell)

• Exposure to network monitoring and observability tools

• Experience in hybrid cloud or multi-region architectures

• Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
