This Senior Manager will lead the Remittance & Payments function within the bank. The role is responsible for overseeing payment operations, cross-border remittance services, and transaction processing while ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and high service standards.

Job Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end remittance and payments operations (local and cross-border transactions)
Manage daily payment processing including SWIFT, IBG, RENTAS, MEPS and other channels
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (BNM guidelines, AML/CFT policies, sanctions screening)
Monitor transaction flows and resolve operational issues, discrepancies, and exceptions
Manage service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure timely, accurate transaction execution
Lead audits, regulatory reporting, and internal control reviews
Analyze payment trends and propose strategies to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience
Lead and develop a team, ensuring performance management and capability building

Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Banking, Business, or related field
8–12 years of experience in banking operations, with strong exposure to remittance and payments
In-depth knowledge of payment systems (SWIFT, RTGS, IBG, MEPS, etc.)
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (BNM, AML/CFT, sanctions compliance)
Experience in managing operations teams and stakeholder engagement
