JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the Project Manager (PM) and project development team members to analyze the technical specifications of the product, changes in technical specifications, and additional new features.

• Participate in project development as a Technical Specialist from the Outline Design, Detail Design, Development/Implementation, Code review, Unit test, to Release stages.

• Design Databases, develop functionalities, and provide support to team members concurrently.

• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager (PM).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• At least 4 years of experience working with Java in Web Application development projects.

• Experience working with the Spring or Spring Boot framework.

• Experience working with JUnit.

• Experience or knowledge of DDD is an advantage.

• Experience working with PostgresSQL/MySQL.

• Ability to research and solve technical issues.

• Good English reading comprehension skills.

Nice to have:

• Have experience as a Team Leader/Senior in projects with a minimum of 2 developers.

• Experience in providing technical support and guidance to team members.

• Experience in code review.

• Experience in interviewing and assessing the technical skills of potential candidates.

• Ability to read, understand, and analyze business requirements from clients.

• Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.

• Ability to thrive under high pressure.

• Ability to create/present technical documents in an understandable manner.

• Good communication skills.

• Ability to train team members.

• Understanding of Japanese company's work processes and styles is an advantage.
