Company Overview

A company in the IT services industry is hiring for a Full Stack Web Developer (Spring Boot / Angular) position.

Location: Tokyo

Job Description

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Spring Boot.

• Build responsive and high-performance Single Page Applications (SPA) using Angular.

• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to support application functionality and system integration.

• Collaborate closely with product, UX, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Enhance existing features, troubleshoot issues, debug applications, and optimize overall system performance.

• Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in web development.

• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.

• Hands-on experience developing applications with Angular.

• Experience building Single Page Applications (SPA) from the ground up.

• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.

• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

• Good communication and documentation skills.

• Knowledge and development experience related to billing systems in Japan.

• Native-level Japanese proficiency or JLPT N1 equivalent.

• Experience with AWS services, particularly SQS, Step Functions, and ECS, is an advantage.

• Experience with cloud-native services is preferred.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is beneficial.

• Knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies is a plus.

• Exposure to event-driven architecture is advantageous.

• Experience in performance tuning and application monitoring is preferred.

• Understanding of authentication and authorization concepts such as JWT and OAuth is beneficial.

• Knowledge of billing systems and financial calculation logic is an advantage.
