Job Description
OVERVIEW
Location: Hanoi
The company is a worldwide leader in wireless broadband solutions
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct both functional and system-level testing on broadband networking devices.
- Assist in implementing automated testing using tools like Python, Robot Framework, or Shell scripts.
- Work closely with firmware and software teams to replicate and resolve technical issues.
- Examine logs and network packet data to identify root causes and document defects clearly.
- Utilize diagnostic tools such as Ping, Tcpdump, and Wireshark to troubleshoot and analyze issues.
- Perform testing related to system performance, reliability, and interoperability.
- Create and implement detailed test plans, including test cases and regression testing scenarios.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1+ years of experience in networking, telecom, broadband systems, or product validation.
Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
Experience with bug-tracking platforms such as JIRA, Redmine, or similar tools is an advantage.
Knowledge of networking devices and protocols such as routers, access points, gateways, ONU, broadband CPE, TR-069, or TR-369 is an advantage.
