Job Summary
The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing engineering operations to support
manufacturing processes, ensuring machine performance, optimizing production efficiency, and achieving
engineering KPIs. This role involves troubleshooting equipment issues, supporting process
improvements, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet customer and production
requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Control and monitor machine performance to achieve engineering KPIs and operational
targets.
• Support machine setup activities in accordance with the production plan, including SMT, selective
wave soldering, and related processes.
• Troubleshoot and take corrective action for machine breakdowns to minimize downtime
and ensure production continuity.
• Train and guide technicians to effectively support production activities while ensuring
compliance with customer and company quality procedures.
• Support customer and internal requirements, including process changes (PCN) and process
deviations (PDN).
• Communicate effectively with the team to achieve engineering KPIs and manage engineering
documentation (creation and revision).
• Monitor and control process yield through inspection systems such as SPI, AOI, and ICT,
ensuring product quality standards are met.
• Comply with assignments and directives from the Engineering Manager and top management.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or related field).
• 2–5 years of experience in Process Engineering or Equipment Engineering in a related industry.
• Experience with PCBA processes, including SMT and through-hole technology.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to perform root cause analysis and
create troubleshooting reports.
• Able to read and create CAD data or stencil designs. Knowledge of design is preferred.
• Other skills: MES, ERP System of Automation System.
