Job Description
Position: Procurement Supervisor (Electrical Parts)
Salary: 40,000 – 50,000THB +/- (Negotiable)
Location: Ayutthaya
Our client is a well-known automotive parts manufacturer.
Key Responsibilities of the position:
Create and implement strategies to optimize printed circuit board (PCB) design and production.
Identify and evaluate new components for integration into PCB designs.
Act as a liaison between Japanese or German designers and vendors to coordinate schedules and ensure timely drawing releases.
Analyze PCB structures and perform detailed cost assessments to support decision-making.
Lead negotiations with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards.
Develop and implement VA initiatives to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Manage supplier discussions during significant delivery challenges to minimize impact.
Drive contingency planning, including promoting manufacturer substitution in cases of natural disasters, fires, or severe supply shortages.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience in electrical parts component procurement. (Preferable hands-on experience in PCB procurement)
Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.), PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI.
