主な職務内容

  • 日本国内の製薬会社およびバイオテクノロジー企業に対する新規顧客開拓
  • 既存顧客との長期的な関係構築およびアカウントマネジメント
  • 顧客の製造ニーズに合わせた医薬品製造装置・ソリューションの提案
  • 見積作成、価格交渉、契約締結までの営業プロセス管理
  • 海外本社および技術チームと連携したプロジェクト推進・導入支援




An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Manager to join a global technology leader serving the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Based in Tokyo, you will drive business growth across Japan by developing new client relationships, expanding existing accounts, and delivering innovative manufacturing solutions to leading pharmaceutical companies. This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technology while collaborating with international teams in a highly respected global organization.



Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries across Japan.
  • Manage key customer accounts and build long-term relationships with stakeholders at leading pharmaceutical manufacturers.
  • Recommend technical machinery and production solutions tailored to customers' operational and manufacturing requirements.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, prepare competitive quotations, and successfully close sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with global teams and technical specialists to ensure smooth project implementation and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and QualificationsExperience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, industrial equipment sales, or machinery sales.
  • Proven track record of managing customer relationships and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience preparing commercial proposals, quotations, and conducting contract negotiations.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical product specifications and manufacturing solutions.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel throughout Japan as required.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities in multicultural business environments.
  • Adaptable and proactive approach to changing customer needs and market conditions.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Existing network within the Japanese pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
  • Experience selling capital equipment, industrial machinery, or large-scale production systems.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and industry regulations.
  • German language skills would be highly advantageous.
