Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project plans, managing timelines, budgets, and resources, and track progress throughout the project lifecycle
• Communicate with stakeholders including clients, team members, and senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment
• Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure project success
• Lead and motivate project teams, often in a matrix environment, to ensure efficient project delivery
• Facilitate effective written and verbal communication in both Japanese and English, using appropriate tools and techniques
• Ensure project deliverables meet required quality standards

Required Skills

• Fluency in Japanese (written and verbal) - essential
• Strong project management experience, including knowledge of relevant methodologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders including senior management
• Technical knowledge relevant to the industry or project type
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage risk and make informed decisions
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Familiarity with project management software and collaboration tools
