General Counsel / 法務顧問

General Counsel, Japan 法務顧問 | Fashion/Retail (15M+ salary, WFH)


Our client, a globally renowned brand in the fashion and retail industry, is seeking a General Counsel to join their international team. This role offers the opportunity to provide strategic legal counsel across various business functions in Japan, collaborating with a diverse team in a fast-paced, global environment. Key Responsibilities:


- Advise on commercial matters and business projects
- Draft and negotiate complex contracts and transactions
- Resolve legal issues related to consumers, partners, and vendors
- Collaborate with global legal teams for service improvement
- Oversee outside counsel for specific legal matters
- Provide legal guidance in Japanese and English


Qualifications:

- Juris Doctorate degree or equivalent
- 5+ years experience in law firm or in-house legal counsel
- Fluency in Japanese and English, oral and written
- Experience in commercial, consumer, advertisement, and competition law
- Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex contracts
- Experience in the fashion or retail industry is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience with international legal teams is preferred but not mandatory

応募資格：


- 法務博士号または同等の資格
- 5年以上の法律事務所または社内法務の経験
- 日本語および英語での流暢なコミュニケーション能力（口頭および書面）
- 商業法、消費者法、広告法、競争法の経験
- 複雑な契約の作成および交渉能力
- ファッションまたは小売業界での経験があれば尚可
- 国際的な法務チームとの経験があれば尚可
