ALM Functional Architect
Key Responsibilities
- Lead ALM functional architecture and solution definition using PTC Codebeamer
- Conduct customer workshops, requirement elicitation, and process mapping sessions
- Define and implement end-to-end traceability frameworks (Requirement → Test → Risk → Evidence)
- Configure Codebeamer at the functional level (trackers, workflows, fields, permissions)
- Drive best practices in: Requirements Management, Test Management & Coverage Analysis and Risk & Change Management
- Provide functional guidance across regulated development environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and present ALM strategies clearly to leadership teams
- Support ALM tool migration initiatives (from legacy tools such as DOORS or Excel)
- Ensure alignment with industry standards and compliance frameworks

Required Skills
Qualifications:
Mandatory
- 12-15 years of overall experience with 5+ years in ALM environments
- Strong PTC Codebeamer end-user experience (Requirements, Test, Risk, Traceability)
- Hands-on experience in Codebeamer functional configuration (no scripting required)
- Solid understanding of: Requirements Management, Test Management, Risk & Change Management, and End-to-end traceability definition
- Proven experience conducting customer workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Fluent bilingual proficiency in Japanese(JLPT N2) and English (spoken and written)
Good to Have
- Experience with Siemens Polarion, IBM DOORS, Windchill RV&S, or JAMA
- Experience in ALM tool migration projects
- Familiarity with JIRA (functional usage)
- Exposure to PLM concepts (Windchill – EBOM / MBOM overview level)
- Awareness of compliance standards such as ASPICE, ISO 26262, or ISO 62304
- PTC Codebeamer certifications (Implementation Practitioner / Consultant)
- Experience in Automotive (preferred), Medical Devices, or Aerospace & Defense domain
