This role leads QA automation for advanced AI‑driven customer service platforms used across a large, diversified enterprise group. You will design automation frameworks from scratch while guiding QA best practices across multiple high‑impact products.

Description
As part of the Quality Assurance function within an AI product organization, you will take a hands‑on lead role in ensuring product quality as solutions scale across multiple business units.
Key responsibilities include:- Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks from scratch
- Creating and executing automated test cases using Python, Selenium, and Playwright
- Leading and mentoring QA team members while driving automation strategy
- Embedding quality into the CI/CD lifecycle in collaboration with engineers, product managers, and DevOps
- Defining QA standards, processes, metrics, and best practices across projects
- Analyzing test results, identifying defects, and driving continuous quality improvement
- Participating in test planning, estimation, and code review activities
- Advocating for testability throughout system design and implementation

Required Skills
Required experience and skills:
- 5-7 years of experience in software testing with solid knowledge of QA methodologies and test lifecycles
- Proven hands‑on experience building and enhancing automation frameworks
- Strong proficiency in Python and automation tools such as Selenium and Playwright
- Experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills
- Clear communication and documentation abilities
- Fluent English and business‑to‑native level Japanese
- Exposure to LLM‑based or AI/ML product testing
- Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor)
- Experience with performance or security testing
- Knowledge of Docker and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
