Commercial Finance Analyst コマーシャルファイナンスアナリスト - FMCG (10-15m JPY, No JP Required)


Our client, a leading company in the FMCG industry, is seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst for their operations in Japan. This role offers the opportunity to oversee financial planning and analysis, including the Annual Operating and Five Year Plan, and to innovate financial processes in a global matrix environment. The position offers a competitive salary of 10-15 million JPY and does not require Japanese language proficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

- Lead annual budget and five-year operating plan preparation
- Manage monthly, quarterly, yearly financial reporting for HQ and Japan
- Identify financial process improvements in international matrix environment
- Coordinate with Japanese banks for emergency communications
- Analyze financial risks and opportunities against budget forecasts
- Support tax filings and government surveys
- Communicate financial policies on intranet


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or MBA in Business, Finance, or similar field
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and power query
- Experience with database programming (TM1, Cognos, Access, Hyperion)
- Understanding of GAAP and general financial principles
- Experience in retail/wholesale industry with 200+ SKUs
- Experience with financial reporting tools like SAP or Oracle is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to communicate financial data to global audiences
