A renowned motor vehicle manufacturing company is looking for a Quality Engineer. The selected candidate will manage customer quality relations, oversee project quality requirements, and ensure compliance with global standards.

Responsibilities:

• Act as primary quality liaison for Japan customers, ensuring clear communication and alignment
• Support customer projects and manage PPAP timelines, approvals, and quality requirements
• Monitor customer claims, coordinate sorting, and lead warranty analysis and reporting
• Coordinate with internal teams and global sites to resolve issues and escalate when needed
• Maintain quality systems, support audits, and ensure compliance with standards
• Deliver quality training and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in engineering or related field
• More than 5 years of quality experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
• Experience working directly with customers on quality topics
• Prior experience in manufacturing process control and continuous improvement
• Proven experience with quality software and documentation systems
• Understanding of IATF 16949 and automotive quality systems
• Skilled in AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC)
• Proficient in 8D problem solving and 5Why analysis
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Native level Japanese; proficient in English
